You're reading: Negotiating group on coalition to meet on Nov. 6 – Kyrylenko

Representatives of the negotiating group on the creation of a parliamentary coalition have formed seven working groups who will finalize the coalition agreement's sections on reforms within two days, parliamentary candidate from the People's Front Party Viacheslav Kyrylenko has told Interfax-Ukraine.

“Seven working groups on key areas of reforms have been formed. They will work for two days and professionally draft the points of the agreement. The negotiating group will meet on Nov. 6, and the content of the coalition agreement will be almost 90 percent ready,” he said after talks on Monday.

When asked whether the negotiators agreed on candidates for posts in the Cabinet of Ministers, the politician said: “This issue was not discussed, as we first considered the rules of procedure. Then we’ll consider the content of reforms and the government.”

According to Kyrylenko, representatives of three parties involved in the negotiations (the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, the People’s Front and Samopomich) drew up a protocol outlining the government formation order.

“The coalition nominates a candidate for prime minister, who then submits nominations to the government and assumes responsibility for them. But before that the coalition will discuss them. The candidacy of the prime minister that will be submitted by the coalition, I would venture to say, is 100 percent that of Arseniy Yatsenyuk,” Kyrylenko said.
