The Opposition Bloc will form a strong and tough pro-Ukrainian force in the new Verkhovna Rada, said Vadym Rabinovich, one of the top five figures in this party.
“The country will get a sturdy pro-Ukrainian opposition force, strongly critical of the government,” he said on Inter television on Sunday evening.
He said the party’s actual result in the election is higher than that announced in exit polls.
“We are conducting a parallel vote count and will announce our own results. Many of those polled were afraid to articulate the words ‘Opposition Bloc,'” he said.
One can’t describe elections as good if 4 million people failed to participate in them, he said. “Voter turnout in the east was about 25%-30% due to intimidation,” Rabinovich said.
