Voter participation was at 29% in the Luhansk region as of 1800 as the number of voters topped 140,000, said head of the regional state administration Hennadiy Moskal.
“The most active voters are in Bilovodsk district which is integrated with the 114th single-mandate district. Voter turnout was 39% in it as of 1800. The lowest voter participation – 25% – was in Severodonetsk, an administrative center in Luhansk region integrated with the 106th single-mandate electoral district,” he said on his official Web site.
The polls are proceeding peacefully with no gunfire attacks fired by the illegal armed groups, he said.
