The voter turnout was 40.77 percent at 4 p.m., according to information from all the 198 constituencies where the early parliamentary election is held, the Central Election Commission (CEC) reported.
The highest turnout was registered in Volyn Obast (49.94 percent), Lviv Oblast (49.78 percent) and Ivano-Frankivsk Obast (48.12 percent).
The lowest turnout was seen in Donetsk Oblast (25.96 percent), Luhansk Oblast (28.47 percent), and Odesa Oblast (29.56 percent).
The election is being held in 198 constituencies.
The turnout does not influence the election outcome.
