Six people have been fired from the Kharkiv region's prosecutor's office on grounds envisaged by the law on lustration.

The Ukrainian prosecutor general has issued orders dismissing three deputy prosecutors of the Kharkiv region (Leonid Lakhtiuk, Dmytro Kavun and Alla Linnyk) due to the expiration of their contracts of employment on grounds envisaged by the law on lustration, a response to an information request from Interfax says.

The Kharkiv region’s prosecutor has issued a decree dismissing Serhiy Mironov (deputy prosecutor of the Kharkiv Zhovtnevy district), Volodymyr Sukhodubov (the head of the department for work with the personnel of the Kharkiv region’s prosecutor’s office) and Serhiy Khachatrian (senior prosecutor of the organization-methodical section of the department on procedural administration in criminal proceedings of Kharkiv region’s prosecutor’s office) on the same grounds.

Mironov and Khachatrian previously worked as deputy prosecutors for Kharkiv region and Sukhodubov was first deputy prosecutor of Kharkiv region.
