NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Ukraine's Elina Svitolina beat Sweden's Johanna Larsson 6-4, 6-2 on August 26 to move into the final of the Connecticut Open, the last women's tuneup before the U.S. Open.
The match began with three consecutive service breaks before the 21-year-old Svitolina found her touch and took control.
