Schalke have moved to strengthen their forward line with the addition of Ukraine winger Yehven Konoplyanka from Sevilla. The Bundesliga side need a lift after losing their opening match at Frankfurt at the weekend.
Schalke did not immediately publish details of the deal but German media reported Konoplyanka, 26, would be joining on loan, at least initially.
