A friendly football match between the national teams of Ukraine and the United States is due to be played on Cyprus on March 5.
“Taking into account the request of the United States Soccer
Federation regarding conducting the match between Ukraine and the United
States outside Ukraine’s borders due to security concerns, the Football
Federation of Ukraine has decided to conduct this match on Cyprus and
not in Kharkiv at Metalist regional sports complex, as planned earlier,”
the FFU’s press service reported on Tuesday.
The venue and kick-off time of the match will be announced later.
Information on the reimbursement of the cost of tickets will be
announced soon.
