Simferopol, September 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The number of children hospitalized with food poisoning from kindergartens in Dzhankoi, Crimea, has risen to 137, Viktor Brydko, the head doctor of the Crimean republic establishment "Health Center", told Interfax-Ukraine.

He said that one hospitalized child is in grave condition.

Children from eight of Dzhankoi’s nine kindergartens have been hospitalized.

Most of the children were taken to hospital from the kindergarten No9 “Sonechko.”

According to the Health Ministry’s reports, 109
children have mild form of disease, and the rest 28 are in moderately
grave condition.

Preliminary diagnosis is gastroenterocolitis. The causes of disease are under investigation.
