The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) welcomed the first ever donation of 580,000 dollars in shipments of 1,000tn of wheat made through the Port of Djibouti from the government of Ukraine on July 21, 2009 to support WFP's efforts and to feed close to five million people in Ethiopia who are in need of emergency relief assistance.
