You're reading: Associated Press: Danes chosen to lead EU fight against corruption in Ukraine

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen says his country has been chosen to lead the European Union's new 16 million-euro ($18 million) program against corruption in Ukraine.

Jensen says he will make the official announcement during a visit to Kyiv on Sept. 16, together with EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn.
