Kyiv, October 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The average price per square meter in a one- to three-room flat on the secondary housing market in Kyiv in U.S dollars in January-September 2009 fell by 33.13%, to $1,536 per square meter, according to a press release of Kyiv-based SV Development consulting company.
The company said that in Q3, 2009, a rise in the prices was registered in all districts of the capital, apart from in Dniprovsky District, where the price remained unchanged at $1,219 per square meter.
The maximum growth in the price of one square meter was recorded in Darnytsky District, at 4.19%, where the average price of one square meter was $1,146. The minimum increase in the price of one square meter was registered in Obolon District at 1.9%, where the average price of one square meter was $1,522.
Darnytsky District remained the cheapest in terms of average prices, where the average price of one square meter over the period was $1,146, and Pechersky District remained the most expensive in average prices, where the average price of one square meter over the period was $2,563.
