The Ukrainian government has sought to diversify its energy sources by negotiating with Germany, Romania and Turkey for possible puchases of natural gas.

The Ukrainian government has sought to diversify its energy sources by negotiating with Germany, Romania and Turkey for possible puchases of natural gas, China's Xinhua news agency reported.

The move was aimed at reducing Ukraine's dependence on Russian gas, local media reported on March 19.
