Alexander Borodai, who has resigned as prime minister of the self-declared "Donetsk People's Republic"(DPR), said on Aug. 7 that he remains in the "DPR" leadership as first deputy prime minister.
“I’m a crisis manager, one may say. The crisis in the DPR is over and there’s no longer any need for me in that capacity [as prime minister]. I now have new tasks and a new position,” Borodai said.
He said he had no plans to leave the “DPR:.
The office of “DPR” prime minister has gone to Alexander Zakharchenko, commander of the Oplot unit.
