The organization writes: Ukrainians, who live and work in the United States, have the opportunity to see and experience both the cost and the rewards of freedom which is symbolically portrayed by the Statue of Liberty and can be seen from an aircraft approaching America from the East. We want to see our homeland, Ukraine, similarly prosperous and free. On the eve of the 18th anniversary of Ukrainian Independence, we again feel danger moving toward our land.
