The Emergencies Ministry prevented a large supermarket and home appliances store from catching a fire from a nearly clothes strore on Prospekt Peremohy in Kyiv on June 17.
The roof of the children’s clothes store located at 87 Peremohy caught fire at 12:53, and nearby stores, Silpo and Foxtrot,were in danger of catching the fire soon. It took firefighters more than an hour to put the fire out.
The roof and inside of the building were completely destroyed, the Emergencies Ministry said. According to a preliminary investigation, the fire started because of careless repairs of the roof, according to korrespondent.net.
