A director for one of Odesa-based firms killed two partners and committed suicide in Malynivskyi district of Odesa on October 9, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs. A security guard heard shots in an office and called the police and company's executives. The office staff had to break the glass as the doors were closed.

They saw three people with gun shot wounds. The operational-investigations group found out that the victims were employees for the firm, its top managers: two men of 51 – and 44-year-old and a 54-year-old woman.

In examining the incident site policemen discovered a 12- gauge slug gun registered for the 44-year-old killed man and four fired cases. The investigative and operational activity revealed the preliminary picture of the incident: the owner of the weapons killed his partners, then committed suicide as evidenced by the characteristic of gunshot wounds both on the victims and on objects seized from the crime scene.

According to one of the versions the murder was committed during heart-to-heart talks between the victims based on their financial and economic activity.

The crime was carried out at 9, Dalnytska Street, second floor, a source in the Chief Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Odesa region said.

The killed businessmen leased an office and dealt with making and selling of souvenir items, according to the source.

The police instituted criminal proceedings of murder; investigation is underway.

The source did not name any article of the Criminal Code related to the incident explaining that it might be changed during the investigation.
