The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 5 million to the Labor and Social Policy Ministry for creation of a state institution called Social Contact Center.
This is stated in the Cabinet of Ministers directive No. 579 dated May 27.
The center is being created to enable the authorities to promptly respond to requests from citizens, enterprises, institutions, organizations, entrepreneurs, and local self-governments.
The Cabinet of Ministers instructed the Finance Ministry to allocate this amount from the reserve fund of the state budget and instructed the Labor and Social Policy Ministry to deliver a report on the use of the money by the end of this year.
The Cabinet of Ministers also authorized the Labor and Social Policy Ministry to procure in 2009 goods and services involving creation of the Social Contact Center and facilitating its operation under simplified procedures, i.e. without following the requirements of the Provisions on Procumbent of Work, Goods, and Services with State Funds, which the Cabinet of Ministers approved.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers decided on May 27 to create the Social Contact Center for coordinating citizens’ requests to the authorities.
