The Cabinet of Ministers is suggesting that the Verkhovna Rada introduce free issuing of permits for the right to conduct tourists by guides-specialists, Culture and Tourism Minister Vasyl Vovkun has told news reporters.

In his words, the government has approved relevant draft law at its session meeting on Wednesday

The Culture Minister thinks that once these permits made free of charge, this would increase the number of business entities rendering services of conducting tourists, consequently the flow of contributions to the national budget would go up.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Culture and Tourism Ministry in March initiated raising of the cost of licenses for tourist business.
