The Central Election Commission has registered new Member of Parliament Vadym Novinsky, who won the by-election to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in single-seat constituency No. 224 in Sevastopol.

As the CEC press service reported, the commission took such decision at the Tuesday’s sitting after considering the corresponding documents.

As reported, on July 7, President of the Smart-Holding Group (Kyiv) Vadim Novinsky won the by-election to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in single-seat constituency No. 224.

On July 22, the press service of Smart-Holding reported that he had given up his authorities as chairman of the company’s supervisory board early because of his election as an MP.

A well-known businessman and the owner of Smart-holding, Novinsky, who was born in Russia and lives in Kyiv, obtained Ukrainian citizenship for distinguished services to the country under an order from Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych of May 29, 2012.
