The Ukrainian parliament has passed a bill allowing captive servicemen to retain their wages.Soldiers who have been captured or held hostage as well as those interned in neutral countries or missing in action, retain their remuneration in the amount of salary received in the last place of service, military rank bonus, seniority bonus, other additional monthly extras paid on permanent basis, other types of bonuses contingent on the duration of service and salary standards.
