The Central Election Commission has registered Uzhgorod Mayor Serhiy Ratushniak as candidate for Ukraine's president.
The commission members unanimously backed the decision on Wednesday. The commission also registered Ratushniak’s wife Maryna as his election agent.
Ratushniak said that he is planning to spend as much money on the election campaign as is allowed by the law.
The Central Election Commission had registered 18 presidential candidates as of Wednesday. November 13 is the deadline for the registration of presidential candidates.
