The Constitutional Court has received an appeal from Kyiv regional council on the constitutionality of a Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko's order on appointing Viktor Vakarash head of Kyiv regional state administration, the court's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The appeal officially interprets the points of Article 118 of the
Constitution in part of legal consequences of violating the procedure
of the appointment of a regional state administration head.
According to the regulations, the appeal has been sent for consideration to the Constitutional Court secretariat.
As reported, on September 17 Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko
signed a decree to appoint Viktor Vakarash head of Kyiv regional state
administration.
