Federal prosecutors are moving to deport an 88-year-old Troy man they say participated in anti-Jewish operations as part of a Nazi-backed auxiliary police unit in Ukraine during World War II. A charging document against John Kalymon was filed in U.S. Immigration Court in Detroit last week, accusing him of serving as a member of the Ukranian Auxiliary Police, or UAP, in occupied Lviv, Ukraine, from at least May 1942 to March 1944.
