Ukraine's State Property Fund (SPF) has not allowed a courier into its office to deliver a court ruling on the suspension of the sale of OJSC Odesa Port-Side Plant (Odesa region), a lawyer of OJSC Dniproazot (Dniprodzerzhynsk, Dnipropetrovsk region), Olesiy Nizhnik, has told Interfax-Ukraine.

“They tried to deliver a court ruling to its office, as foreseen in
the fund’s regulations, but we were not allowed to enter it and pointed
to the mailbox,” he said.

“The courier who was instructed to deliver the ruling put it into the mailbox in the presence of the press,” he said.

He said that the ruling has come into effect and the court did not cancel it.

Nizhnik said that this is not the first failure to deliver the
ruling to the fund. He said that earlier a fund representative who took
part in the court hearings had refused to accept a copy of the ruling.
