Donbassaero Airlines Company (Donetsk) has launched a new Donetsk-Dubai-Donetsk flight starting from October 2009 for the winter season.
According to an official report from the company, the flight will be carried out once a week – on Tuesdays – starting from October 27, 2009 until March 23, 2010.
An Airbus 320 will perform the flight. The flight time is four hours and 15 minutes.
Donbassaero was created in 1933 as a subdivision of Soviet airline Aeroflot. In November 2006, the company became the minicipal property of Donetsk.
A total of 74.99% of the company’s capital was passed into the property of Aerosvit-Ukrainian Airlines (Kyiv) in 2007.
Donbassaero ‘sfleet consists of six Yak-42s and four Airbus 320s.
