Dutch government won't rush to assess the outcome of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement and plans to deal with the issue within six months, Dutch media reported.

According to a letter of Dutch Foreign Chief Bert Koenders addressed to the parliament, a response of the government on the result received by the election commission will be submitted to the parliament by September 2016.

The document also says the government’s decision demands a thorough approach that’s why it will take a definite time to pass it.

As reported, according to preliminary results of the referendum in the Netherlands held on April 6, 61.1 percent of Dutch voted against the ratification of Ukraine-EU Association, who participated in the referendum, and just 38.1 percent backed the ratification.
