FC Dynamo Kyiv forward Andriy Shevchenko has joined the list of the world's most successful top division goal scorers among still active players who have scored 200 or more goals in the top divisions of the world's football championships.

According to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), the 33-year-old footballer has scored 200 goals in 402 matches. During his 15-year football career, Shevchenko has played in the championships of three countries – Ukraine (Dynamo), Italy (Milan), and England (Chelsea), the press service of Dynamo Kyiv reported.

Shevchenko is 24th in the table. Marc Lloyd-Williams, who currently plays for Airbus UK Broughton (Wales), tops the table with 313 goals scored in 445 matches. The list also includes world-famous players such as Henrik Larsson (268 goals/478 matches), Rivaldo (261/518), Ronaldo (240/335), Thierry Henry (230/443), Raul Gonzalez (225/534), Martin Palermo (221/432), Ruud van Nistelrooy (216/316) and Mark Viduka (201/409).
