You're reading: Eleven Ukrainian servicemen hurt in explosions over past day

Two Ukrainian servicemen have been injured in the explosion of a pull-action mine and nine border guards have suffered wounds in the explosion of a land mine in the war zone over the past day, claims Andriy Lysenko spokesman for military affairs.

“There are still plenty of explosive devices planted along the contact line and the state border. Two servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were blasted by pull-action mines in Stanytsia Luhanska. A land mine blew up under a vehicle of Ukrainian border guards in Krasna Talivka, lightly injuring six officers and causing medium injuries to another three,” he said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Oct.15.

According to Lysenko, not a single shelling incident or a hostile drone flight has been observed over the day, and no Ukrainian servicemen have been killed or injured in the hostilities.

The Luhansk region military-civilian administration said earlier that three Ukrainian servicemen were injured in the explosion of a land mine in Krasna Talivka in the Luhansk region.
