The European Parliament is to decide on a new chairman for the delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee will be uncovered by the end of the week.

Romania Socialist Adrian Severin, who previously chaired the
EU-Ukraine delegation, has been again elected member of the European
Parliament and will not return to the delegation.

unlikely to become a member of the new delegation, as he has been
elected vice-president of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of
Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, Interfax-Ukraine

According to the agency’s information, Severin’s predecessor in the

The delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee
will be finally formed during the European Parliament’s plenary meeting
scheduled for September 14-17 in Strasbourg.
