Ukraine’s decision not to sign political and trade agreements with the European Union is directly related to strong Russian economic pressure, coupled with Russian “myths and misinterpretation” about the trade deal offered by the EU to Ukraine, according to Štefan Füle, the European commissioner for the neighbourhood policy.
