The owner of Kyiv-based Planeta Group and head of the Lytvyn Bloc faction in Kyiv city council, Valeriy Moshensky, has said that the price of economy class apartments in Kyiv at $900-1,000 is appropriate, he said in an interview with the Vlast Deheg weekly.
“At present, the price of construction materials has fallen. A price of $650 per square meter is realistic if there is no payment of bribes and no transfer of some of the apartments to the city,” he said.
He said that adding in the constructor’s profits of 10% and a profit of the company-customer and interest rates on credits, the price of one square meter reaches $900-1,000.
“A price of $900-1,000 is a proper price, if we don’t take into account extra profits for the so-called business and premium classes, which are actually unrealistic in Kyiv,” he said.
CJSC Planeta-Bud was founded in 1998. It is a part of Planeta group of companies (Kyiv). It is an operator on the construction and maintenance market.
Over the last five years, the company has designed and reconstructed the building of the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine, the House of Art Collectives of Ukraine, the railway terminal in Kyiv, railway stations in Bakhmach, Shepetivka, Yahotyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Mohyliv-Podilsky, and constructed an office center for the Kyivstar GSM Company.
