The blast site of a third explosion near a mosque has been found today, July 19 as two Eastern European men were held by officers and questioned on suspicion of terrorism offences.
Wolverhampton Central Mosque on Dunstall Road, Wolverhampton, was evacuated late last night after police received information that it may have been the target of a device activated three weeks ago.
West Midlands Police said the "seat of an explosion and debris" were discovered following the tip off on a roundabout near the mosque.
The find was made following yesterday's arrest of two Ukrainian men in Small Heath, Birmingham, in connection with two other blasts close to mosques in Walsall and Tipton.
The men, aged 25 and 22, are being questioned on suspicion of being involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism.
