Ukraine's Ministry for Family, Youth and Sports plans to place the House of Sports in the 12-storey building that the investor is constructing on the territory of the Olympiysky National Sports Complex, Family, Youth and Sports Minister Yuriy Pavlenko told journalists while visiting the Olympiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv on Thursday.
“We consider this building to be the House of Sports, where the National Olympic Committee, Parliamentary Committee, the anti-doping center, Federation of Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports, as well as a part of the ministry’s subdivision will be located,” he said.
According to Pavlenko, UEFA representatives also will be able to set up offices there during the finals of the European Football Championship 2012.
He said he is sure that the ministry will manage to agree with investors in the construction on transferring this building to state ownership.
