The head of parliament's regulatory committee, Oleksandr Yefremov, has accused the leader of the Front for Change public initiative, former Verkhovna Rada Chairman Arseniy Yatseniuk, of misusing budget funds intended for the new Rada-3 voting system.

“The committee has the relevant conclusion, these materials should
be transferred to the prosecutor’s office as there has been the misuse
of money,” he said a meeting of the conciliatory council on Monday.

Yefremov said that the materials concerning the use of funds
intended for the creation of this voting system were given to former
speaker Yatseniuk. According to the MP, these funds were foreseen
neither by the state budget, nor by the distributing funds of the
Verkhovna Rada.

“This was a personal order and the Rada [voting system], which has
been created, doesn’t fulfil any functions. This has already been
checked,” he said.

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn told members of
the conciliatory council that he had examined all of the materials
concerning the new voting system. He promised to transfer these
materials to the relevant regulation committee.

“The profile committee will take a decision and I will sign it. But then you should have no complaints,” Lytvyn added.
