You're reading: Four senior officials of Education Assessment Center summoned for questioning

Four senior officials of the Center for Education Quality Assessment (UCEQA) have been summoned for questioning as part of an investigation into illegal interference in the single system of education quality assessment.

“Summons have been presented to the entire center’s leadership consisting of four people,” deputy prosecutor general Oleh Zalisko said at a briefing in Kyiv on July 22.

Zalisko said that these summons have been handled by the Interior Ministry’s authorities after investigative activities have been conducted.

The officials will likely be called in within three days.

As reported, on July 21, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin said at a briefing that the leadership of the UCEQA is suspected of abuse of office and that some of them might be detained in the near future.
