Gazprom has confirmed National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy had paid for gas supplied in September, according to Gazprom's press service.
“Naftogaz Ukrainy has fully and on time paid for Russian gas supplied in September,” the press service said.
According to Naftogaz, “there was no need to use borrowed funds that
shows Naftogaz has enough own funds to perform current payments.”
“We expect in the future the Russian gas supplies will be paid on time, as it is foreseen in the contract,” Gazprom said.
