Europe won't forget about Ukraine because of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groysman has said.

“The main thing is that we agreed that even the recent events in the world, [including] in Paris won’t make the EU forget about Ukraine,” he told journalists in Stockholm on Nov. 17 during his official visit to Sweden.

During his meetings with senior Swedish officials, Groysman discussed the recent attacks of Russian backed militants in eastern Ukraine, the parliament’s press service has reported.

According to Groysman, “Swedish partners back Ukraine and say that the EU’s efforts to support Ukraine won’t be reduced.”

Groysman added that he is certain that Sweden’s “commitment to Ukraine over Russia’s aggression, sanctions policy and over the implementation of the Minsk Agreements” will continue.
