You're reading: Hot running water supply resumed in Kyiv

Kyiv, Dec. 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Kyivenergo, which exploits the energy complex in Kyiv, at noon on Dec. 15 resumed hot running water supply in the capital, the company's press service has reported.

According to the press release, the resumption of hot running water supply started at 0800 on December 14 after gas supply companies increased gas pressure for Kyiv Pump-Storage Plant Five and Pump-Storage Plant Six.

“In addition, the required temperature is maintained at all sources of heat power in the company, apart from Kyiv Pump-Storage Plant Five, where the temperature is 62 Centigrade,” reads the release.

According to the release, the debt ofHr 413 million to Gaz Ukrainy appeared due to the absence of compensation for the difference between the present tariffs and economically justifiable tariffs from the city budget. The sum to be reimbursed from the city budget isHr 516 million.
