The Industry Ministry of Ukraine has prepared a number of draft laws aimed at solving the main problems of the shipbuilding industry in Ukraine.
The collegium of the Industry Ministry planed to prepare and introduce for parliament’s consideration draft laws of Ukraine: “On the state stimulation of shipbuilding,” “On the national target economic program of shipbuilding development for the period until 2035,” “On the activity in the sphere of defense and industry complex,” and “On peculiarities of the privatization of enterprises of the defense and industry complex.”
At the same time, the draft law “On the national target economic program for the development of shipbuilding for the period until 2035” should be introduced for the Verkhovna Rada’s consideration in the fourth quarter of 2009, the ministry’s press service reported.
The collegium also said there was a need to adopt measures to fully finance state defense orders in the sphere of shipbuilding for 2009.
