Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called for enlarging the number of checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border and their modernization to European standards. “Checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border is a very sensitive subject,” he said after Tuesday negotiations with Ukrainian Acting Foreign Minister Vladimir Khandogiy.
