Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko called for the establishment of a unified Orthodox church in Ukraine.“This is a matter of unity of our spiritual life and the entire society. This is a father’s house for all Orthodox Christians in Ukraine,” Yushchenko said, according to a July 25 report by ITAR-TASS.
