Ukrainian singer Jamala's participation in the Eurovision 2016 song contest in Stockholm cost Hr 3.123 million, the singer's producer, Ihor Tarnopolsky, has said.

“The budget of the trip to Eurovision was Hr 3.123 million (the current exchange rate is Hr 4.25per $1), of which Hr 1.8 were provided by the STB TV Channel. This was an act of good will. The rest of the expenses were covered by people who wished to remain unknown, but this was very timely, much needed and helped us to make it,” Tarnopolsky said at a press conference in Kyiv on May 17.

According to him, Jamala’s team in Stockholm consisted of 17 people.
