You're reading: JCCC registers no violations of ceasefire war zone

As of 3 p.m. on Oct. 2, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the ceasefire in the Donbas has not registered any violations of the ceasefire along the contact line in the war zone.

Head of the Ukrainian side of the JCCC Major General Borys Kremenetsky reported this to the OSCE special monitoring mission, according to the press officer of the Ukrainian section of the JCCC Ruslan Semesiuk, said.

“The observation of the ceasefire by the parties is a compulsory condition for the further implementation of the Minsk agreements and the fulfillment of the scope of measures for the pullback of tanks, as well as artillery systems under 100mm in caliber and mortars under 120mm in caliber, inclusively, ” he said.

Meanwhile, the head of the Ukrainian part of the joint center said that more than 40 cases of obstructing the work of the OSCE SMM by the militia were reported in September; threats were also voiced to observers.

With this in view, Kremenetsky said cases of the hampering of activity and the denial of access to OSCE SMM international monitors are impermissible and expressed hope for the unconditional resolution of the issues for their elimination.
