Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has expressed regret that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) had not enough political will towards Russian athletes with doping problems.

“Of course, it is a pity that the IOC managers do not enough political will, as this scuttles the idea of the Olympic Games. I am so sorry for Russian Paralympic sportsmen who deserved to be at Olympics. One cannot react in other way – it is impossible, as this allows cheating the system and offend the spirit of the Olympic Games,” he said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

The minister said that Russia is trying to dance round the rules in all spheres.
