Member of Parliament Valerii Konovaliuk, deputy chairman of the Party of Regions faction, supposes that the materials posted at Wikileaks may affect Ukraine's internal politics, he said at 5 Channel on December 6.
"I do not rule out this in some way may influence our internal political events," the legislator said.
In Konovaliuk’s opinion, Wikileaks is a long-term project which will be publishing as true files, so as ordered ones, aimed at influencing countries’ leaders.
In late November, Wikileaks made public more than 250,000 letters of United States diplomats, specifically the U.S. Ambassador John Tefft’s reports on results of his meetings with Ukrainian politicians.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov rules out any compromising information about him can appear at Wikileaks, so as the preceding prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
