Simferopol - Crimean Parliament Speaker Vladimir Konstantinov has said that a new Constitution of Crimea could be adopted by the end of next week.

“The terms are very tight, [but] I think [the constitution will be
adopted] from this point within at most a week,” Konstantinov said at a
press conference on Wednesday, while answering a question from
Interfax-Ukraine.

“In principle, the main conceptual things have been discussed. They
have already been determined. We did have the framework. We will now
adapt this framework to the Russian legislation,” he said.

He also added that “the work [on the draft constitution] is very dynamic.”

“And I, in principle, am satisfied with its pace. We will soon reach a
decision…. It will adopted by the end of next week,” Konstantinov
said.
