Kyiv city state administration has already settled the issue related to the land plots at the Kyiv-based Olympiysky national sports complex with Ural Ltd. and Intersport Ltd., first deputy head of the administration, Anatoliy Holubchenko, said.
“All the issues have been settled. A memorandum has been signed,” he told reporters on Tuesday.
Earlier, Holubchenko reported that the issue of the return of one of two land plots at the Olympiysky national sports complex that were given to investors for construction had been settled.
“The issue with Ural Ltd. has been settled – they returned [the land plot] and we’ll sign the documents next week. We still have problems with Intersport, and we’re working on them,” he said.
He said that UAH 780,000 would be paid to Ural Ltd. Holubchenko said that the Family, Youth and Sports Ministry is to return the sum to the company, as the ministry received the sum during the signing of an investment agreement.
“Kyiv city will pay almost nothing in compensation,” he said.
“Unfortunately, the situation with Intersport is worse, as the land plot was leased,” Holubchenko said. He did not rule out that compensation in monetary terms would be paid to Intersport, although he said that a new land plot could be allocated to the company in compensation.
