The Kyivavtodor municipal road corporation has invited tenders for design of a project for major repair work on the Kyiv Subway Bridge.
Kyivavtodor announced this in a statement, a text of which Ukrainian News obtained.
The project is to be developed in the period of July-November.
The tender is planned for June 23.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Kyivavtodor intends to perform major repair work on the Subway Bridge in Kyiv in 2009. It plans to begin the repair work in July.
The repair work will include replacement of the bridge’s waterproofing substance, its road surface, and part of its sidewalks, and restore its reinforced-concrete structure, and repair its contraction joints.
The Subway Bridge, which was opened in November 1965, is a two-tier reinforced-concrete structure with a width of 29 meters and a length of 684.5 meters.
