The Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Kyiv Patriarchate) on Monday took a decision to form a working group that will be responsible for preparing for a dialog with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate).
As the press service of the Kyiv Patriarchate reported, the rector
of Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy, Archbishop Dmitry, will head the
working group.
The working group of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Kyiv
Patriarchate) was formed after the decision of the Holy Synod of the
UOCMP in Kyiv on September 9 to form a working group for preparing for
a dialog with the Kyiv Patriarchate.
It is planned that in the near future the working groups will discuss issues of organizing bilateral meetings.
As reported, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Kyiv Patriarchate)
supported the decision of the Holy Synod to form the working group
responsible for preparing for a dialog between the two churches, and
expressed readiness to from a working group in the near future.
